Butterfly Mini Album




In this class, we will work with one of the beautiful Kaiser butterfly albums to create a lovely feminine album for a special girl in your life.

Prior to the class, please paint all edges of the album in a neutral colour that coordinates with your chosen papers. In my example, I have painted my edges white (as can be seen in the sneak peek).

Supplies needed:
Butterfly album by Kaiser or an alternative.
3-4 sheets of paper (2 patterned, 2 plain/low pattern).
3 photos in 3"x4" (portrait).
Tiny alpha for part of the album title.
Small to medium sized alpha for title.
Buttons (small to medium).
Small flowers.
Large flowers.
Neutral embroidery thread to sew button centres.
Pearls.
Plain cardstock in a coordinating colour to mat photos.
Small off-cut of lace cardstock.
Boarder rubons.
Transparent flowers and hearts.
Gel pens for journaling.
Fast drying wet glue (eg, Tombow Mono Multi).
Basic Grey file kit OR sandpaper.

Techniques used:
Covering chipboard/craft wood.
Hand stitching.
Mating photos.
Stamping.
Hand journaling.
