This class re-visits alcohol inks but uses them in an all new way. We will be using super-glossy cardstock and embossing to create a piece of unique "patterned paper" to use on our layout in class.
Supplies needed:
One photo 7" x 5" (landscape) that can be cut into 3 strips OR 3 photos 5" high and 2 - 3" wide.
One piece of cardstock for a background.
One 12" x 2" strip of patterned paper.
One piece of fabric or patterned paper.
Machine or embroidery thread.
Mat pack and hole piercer.
Alphabet for a title.
One medium - large rub-on, stamp or other embellishment.
Six buttons, brads, flowers or other embellishments.
Gel pen for journalling on your photo and a gel pen for doodling on your cardstock.
Pencil and scissors.
Techniques learned:
Alcohol ink application, embossing, colourising embossing, hand cutting, doodling, stitching.
